The Mitel® IP-DECT System (Global) provides a highly scalable, messaging-capable solution with a portfolio of wireless phones to address a wide range of usage scenarios. It is ideally suited to verticals such as healthcare, manufacturing, security and retail that require wireless voice and messaging services. Integrating directly with the Mitel Communications Director (MCD), the system supports both European and North American DECT standards and can be deployed globally.

The IP-DECT System can deliver up to 2,000 handsets per installation via up to 1,000 LAN-connected radio base stations delivering comprehensive, cost-effective voice and messaging radio coverage. Requirements for even larger deployments are addressed via custom engineered solutions.

The IP-DECT System consists of:

Mitel IP-DECT Base stations deployed throughout the desired coverage area,
Mitel wireless phones tailored for office or healthcare/industrial applications,
Mitel Wireless Services Messaging (WSM) gateway for real-time messaging/alarm applications, and
A wide range of specialized accessories and tools.

Mitel 5602 Wireless Phone

This compact wireless phone is designed specifically for the busy office environment (hospitality, retail, etc); offering a full range of features and accessories at an attractive price. The Mitel 5602 Wireless Phone has a large backlit graphical display, local phonebook, loudspeaker function, provides extensive talk time, and supports corporate directory access and SMS messaging capability.

Mitel 5603 Wireless Phone

The Mitel 5603 Wireless Phone is one of the first of a new generation of handsets, and is tailored to office requirements. Designed for flexibility and low cost, the 5603 Wireless Phone provides an advanced, simple to use user interface. It provides value for the user who has less complex demands, but who still requires a quality handset for intense daily use.

Mitel 5606 Wireless Phone

These robust wireless phones are designed specifically for healthcare, manufacturing and industrial environments, as well as for environments where security and safety are of concern. The Mitel 5606 Wireless Phone raises the bar by providing an illuminated keypad, protection from moisture and solvents, as well as dust and shock. They are also messaging capable.

Mitel IP-DECT Basestations

The IP-DECT Basestations are deployed over the LAN, integrating directly with the MCD to provide wireless access to mobile users within the desired coverage area.

Mitel Wireless Services Messaging Gateway

Utilizing the Wireless Services Messaging (WSM) gateway, the wireless phones can function as two-way messaging and alarming devices allowing integration to other enterprise systems or specialized applications to provide mobile workers access to real-time critical information.
